Who I work with

I work with anyone with a vision and an idea which includes startups, agencies, and growing businesses to build websites that makes them proud.

Startup

Early-stage businesses that need a helping hand from a web developer who can help them grow.

I work with startups from their first site and continue to support them as they scale.

Companies

If you're looking to build a new website for your company, I'd love to hear from you. I partner with established companies of all sizes, helping to craft an engaging digital experience that aligns perfectly with your vision and business objectives.

Alongside your internal marketing team or freelance brand and marketing experts, I help you launch from build to launch and beyond. My goal is to deliver creative, tailor-made solutions that showcase your rand and connect with your audience.

Frequently asked freelance web developer questions

Here are some of the most common questions I get asked. If you can't find the answer you're looking for, please get in touch.

Strictly speaking, no. I'm a developer, not a designer. I work from creative assets supplied by you or your designer and turn them into a fully functioning website. If you need a designer first, I'm happy to reach out to my contacts and together we can help you bring your ideas to life.
Yes, always. There are no account managers, no juniors, no team of people. I'm The Lone Developer and other than maybe other freelancers to help with the projects, I am the person you speak to, and I'm the person writing your code.
Every project is different, so I work on a per-project basis after understanding your requirements. If you'd like a ballpark before we speak, feel free to describe your project via the contact form and I'll give you a rough estimate.
A straightforward brochure site usually takes around four to six weeks from kickoff to launch. More complex builds with custom functionality, e-commerce, or significant content migration can take longer. I'll give you a realistic timeline at the start of the project.
Yes. I run a small managed hosting service on UK-based infrastructure. All plans include LiteSpeed or Redis caching, daily backups, SSL, and Managed Cloudflare CDN. If you want to keep everything under one roof after launch, hosting with me is a natural fit.
That depends on how we build it. For content-managed sites (WordPress, Statamic, etc.) you'll be able to manage content yourself. I'll make sure you're comfortable doing so before handover.
It's a straightforward description of what I offer: one developer, doing the work himself. No agency structure, no markup for account management. Simply direct access to the person building your site with a team of contacts to assist with design, copywriting and SEO as and when required.
Yes, I work remotely with clients across the UK. Most projects are managed entirely online with no need to meet in person, though I'm always happy to jump on a call.
