Do you do design as well as development?
Strictly speaking, no. I'm a developer, not a designer. I work from creative assets supplied by you or your designer and turn them into a fully functioning website. If you need a designer first, I'm happy to reach out to my contacts and together we can help you bring your ideas to life.
Will I be working with you?
Yes, always. There are no account managers, no juniors, no agency layers. I'm The Lone Developer: I'm the person you speak to and the person writing your code. On projects that need specialist branding or copywriting I may bring in trusted freelancers, and I'll always tell you up front who is involved.
How much does a website cost?
Every project is different, so I work on a per-project basis after understanding your requirements. If you'd like a ballpark before we speak, feel free to describe your project via the contact form and I'll give you a rough estimate.
How long does a project take?
A straightforward brochure site usually takes around four to six weeks from kickoff to launch. More complex builds with custom functionality, e-commerce, or significant content migration can take longer. I'll give you a realistic timeline at the start of the project.
Do you offer web hosting?
Yes. I run a small managed hosting service on UK-based infrastructure. All plans include LiteSpeed caching, daily backups, and free SSL. If you want to keep everything under one roof after launch, hosting with me is a natural fit.
Can I update the website myself?
That depends on how we build it. For content-managed sites (WordPress, Statamic, etc.) you'll be able to manage content yourself. I'll make sure you're comfortable doing so before handover.

Do you work with clients outside of the East Midlands?
Yes, I work remotely with clients across the UK. Most projects are managed entirely online with no need to meet in person, though I'm always happy to jump on a call.
