What's the difference between hiring you and going to an agency?

When you hire an agency, you typically speak to a salesperson, then a project manager, and your site is built by a developer you never meet. With me, you talk directly to the person writing your code. No Chinese whispers here.

How do you choose which technology to use?

I pick the right tool for the job once I have all the requirements of your project. A simple brochure site doesn't necessarily need to be built on WordPress. A complex web app isn't going to be viable with a static site. I'll always explain my recommendation and why.

How long does a website build take?

Typically 4–8 weeks from kick-off to launch, depending on the complexity of the project. I'll give you a realistic timeline before we start.

Is hosting included?

Hosting and domain registration are separate costs, but I can handle both for you at competitive rates. I offer green, sustainable hosting, which is good for your site and the environment.

What happens after the site goes live?

You can take the reins yourself, or sign up to a care plan and I'll handle all updates, security, and maintenance. Either way, I'm still reachable for ad-hoc work billed at my hourly rate.
